We are... Kevin, Christy, Harbor, and Greyson Comstock. 

More about Christy:
I was raised in Okemos, Michigan, although we spent every spare weekend, vacation, and summer in Harbor Springs, (one of the most beautiful places on earth). I went to Okemos High School, graduated in 3 years (I wasn't really an over-achiever, but most of my friends were older than me so I wanted out!). Went to Michigan State, started going into the veterinarian program but somehow ended up an accountant. Worked in Lansing for a while at an accounting firm, moved to Troy for a new job, bought a house in Lake Orion, realized how ungrateful I was for the fact that Jesus died for me (which completely turned my life upside down), met and married Kevin, and collected lots of animals along the way! We moved to Colorado in May 2006, and it was the best thing we've ever done - we love it out here! We started Harbor Landscape Company in January 2007 (originally called KCC Lawn Care), had Harbor in January 2008 and Greyson in October 2009.  We finally found a great place to live out in the country and moved in March 2010.  We're now on an exciting journey trying to make our family more self sufficient. 
So, that was my past and where I came from, here is more about me:

·         I am a mother, wife, daughter, and friend… I am a follower of Jesus, politically conservative, a caretaker of numerous pets and livestock, a business owner, and a manager of our household. 

·         I believe that it is important to stay healthy and important to stay fit (both mentally and physically). 

·         I feel that we need to be more responsible about what is brought into our home whether that be food to consume, cleaning supplies, or filth that is carried over the internet. 

·         I want to provide the best opportunity for my family to be healthy and successful in live.

·         I don’t believe in a lot of the political global warming garbage, but I do believe that we need to be good stewards of this planet we’ve been given. 

·         I feel called to home school our children, but don’t believe that it is meant for everyone. 

·         I look at where our country is headed (and our planet for that matter) and it scares me. 

·         I believe that we need to give and save… and become debt free (or just stay out of debt to begin with). 

·         I think it is important to learn from our past, which in turn means we are responsible to be aware of our history (something I wish I would have paid more attention to in high school). 

·         I also think it is important to pass down where we came from to our children and our grand children.  Simple skills like sewing and canning, cooking and cleaning even, are becoming lost with the business of society. 

·         I feel that it is important to have a mom and a dad, and if at all possible to have a parent be able to stay home with the kids. 

My Interests:
Horseback riding, skiing, rock climbing, hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, snowboarding, kayaking, reading, knitting, baking, cooking, watching (and collecting) movies, hanging out with my dog, cats, parrot, rabbit, and tortoise (and Kevin, of course)...  but to be realistic, since we've had kids, they are my life!

Kevin age, 24, actual age, 5 1/2... works too much, loves the family, crazy about trying to be a better person that God would be proud of, likes Cherrios, pancakes, and going on walks with fam…

My Interests:

Braveheart, Life as a House, Tim Burton movies, and anything that makes you think.

Max Lucado's books, The Barbarian Way, and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

More About Harbor
I am two and I love books and my animals.  I also love Mickey Mouse (although I named him Mock-a-Tay at a recent trip to Disneyland).  I have actually re-named quite a few of my pets... Edward, our rabbit is Do-Do or Doey, Maverick is Mockey, and Zazoo, our parrot is Ya-Ya.  I also call all my teddy bears Bedo. 
I'm beautiful, and crazy, and I have a great attitude!  I love life!

More About Greyson
I'm eight months old... I love food!  I've been sitting up and crawling for quite some time now.  I've also been pulling myself up on things, so I'll be ready to start walking soon!  I love to laugh!  I'm an easy baby and I love my sister!  She makes me laugh a lot!  I also like to put anything and everything in my mouth.  No teeth yet, but mommy is happy about that!
